SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 7. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Tenerife Science and Technology Park (PCTT), has formalized a training contract with three young people, thanks to the Next Generation European funds, which promote job placement through the program ‘First Professional Experience in the Public Administrations of the Canary Islands’.
To do this, during the year that these three people will be part of the work team of the Tenerife Science and Technology Park, they will receive information, training, personalized tutoring and support in the development of all their functions.
The first vice president and insular councilor for Innovation, Enrique Arriaga, details in a note that “the work that these young people will carry out will be focused on the digital transformation of companies, a process that has been consolidated as essential during the current pandemic and that it is necessary beef up”.
Along these lines, he adds that “his work will be carried out in the field of administrative management, through the position of administrative assistant in document management”.
This position, he continues, “will allow them to be in direct contact with transformation and digital skills, aspects of great interest to improve employability options, due to the need for the business fabric to adapt to changes in the market, which requires trained professionals for the use of technological and digital tools”.
The island councilor indicates that with this initiative, PCTT fulfills its corporate purpose, focused on promoting employment and the labor insertion of young people in a world of work that is increasingly demanding and demanding talent with new digital skills and competencies.
To do this, during their stay at the entity they will have the opportunity to advance in their training, thanks to the dual experience that will allow them to combine training and employment.
