The forensic doctor sees no impediments to Salvador Alba enter prison. This is the opinion of the forensic doctor who has recognized Salvador Alba (after the former judge recused the first judicial expert who examined him) who concludes that his pathologies do not prevent the now former magistrate can enter a prison.
After describing the pathological processes presented by the informed, the forensic opinion concludes that these “can be resolved or controlled with the appropriate medical treatment, not being life-threatening at the present time or conditioning significant limitations on the personal autonomy of the convicted person.”
In the opinion of professionals Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Santa Cruz de Tenerifea body commissioned by the TSJC to make the report after the disqualification of the Las Palmas coroners, “there are no contraindications that prevent the informed from carrying out their treatment in a prison, where close control and supervision of said treatment and of the clinical state can also be carried out of the sentenced person by the center’s own medical and health personnel, without prejudice to the need to transfer the inmate eventually or periodically for evaluation by specialists in external health centers”.
In a global way, the expert opinion prepared by the public administration doctors on Alba Mesa reports: “no serious illnesses and incurable ailments are objectified that contraindicate the admission of the informed in a penitentiary center.”
The Criminal Chamber of the TSJC, which yesterday received the report from the Tenerife IML, immediately transferred it to the prosecutor and the other parties involved in the execution of Alba Mesa’s sentence, granting them a period of three days to iReport on the suspension of the execution of the custodial sentence requested by the former judge in reference to the sentenced to six years and six months in prison and 18 disqualification that imposed the Criminal Chamber of the TSJC on September 10, 2019, and confirmed by the Second Chamber of the Supreme Court on November 17, 2021 as the author of crimes of prevarication, bribery and false documentation. Salvador Alba alleged that the treatment of his current pathologies were incompatible with his admission to prison.
