The program starts tomorrow with the main celebration at the Mesa Mota and which, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., will bring together proposals for all ages, such as, for example, the recovery of the kite festival, model aircraft, adapted hiking, interventions live artistic performances, giant games and crafts, as well as an exhibition area for sustainable projects, a market for responsible brands, local flora plantations and talks and workshops. In addition, an exhibition will remember and pay tribute to the fight that, 40 years ago, prevented the Montaña del Aire de La Laguna from becoming an island dump.

Likewise, on June 8, students from the IES El Sobradillo, in collaboration with the Cabildo Volunteer Office, the Montañeros de Tenerife group and students from other institutes, will plant 50 species of flora from the area in Mesa Mota.

Finally, Hernández indicated that on the 17th an awareness action will be carried out in the Plaza de Las Carboneras in which neighbors and students will participate and in which there will be a demonstration of the work of the Ecological Police and the Environmental Protection Unit. , and that will end with the planting of some species.
