A vehicle that was circulating this Friday, June 3, on the TF-421, in Garachico, has fallen down a hillside about 50 meters. This is confirmed to Canarias Now by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2), which points out that at this time the Firefighters of Tenerife are working to rescue a woman, the only victim of this event, to get out of the automobile.
The alert was received around 1:45 p.m. The necessary emergency services were immediately activated. A crew from the Tenerife Fire Department, the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) and the Local Police traveled to the scene, reports 1-1-2.
The firefighters, as previously mentioned, are working to free the woman from the vehicle and take her to the SUC’s sanitary ambulance, where the severity of her injuries will be assessed and a decision will be made as to her admission or not to a hospital.
