CC-PNC demands a Plan for the Elderly “on the second anniversary of the elimination of Ansina.” His spokesman in the Cabildo, Carlos Alonso, points out that the PSOE “has abandoned them during the Covid-19 pandemic” after “the end of the intervention and revitalization program in June 2020.” Alonso points out that “the elders of Tenerife still do not have a specific plan from the Cabildo. Two years have passed without their own initiative and it is necessary to recover the one that received the Canary Islands Gold Medal». Alonso explains that «Pedro Martín and Mariaán Franquet promised a comprehensive plan and two years later there is nothing, except to distribute some money to the municipalities; but that is not the solution”.
The nationalist spokesman points out that “the government group put out to tender the supposed Plan for the Elderly and it was deserted.” He concludes: “The elders want Ansina, his activities and the 58 professionals who were thrown out on the street in the middle of the pandemic.”
