Tenerife-UD Las Palmas: Ramis: “When you get to this type of match there are only two finals: either you laugh or you cry”

The coach of CD Tenerife, Luis Miguel Ramis, has assured that promotion to the First Division is “a spectacular challenge” for the teamwho individually is “the most powerful” of his career, and has asserted that his soccer players are “prepared”.

“When you get to these types of games there are only two endings: either you laugh or you cry,” said at the press conference prior to this Wednesday’s match at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López, in the first leg of the first round of the play off.

Luis Miguel Ramis has commented that the four teams that have qualified for promotion have equal chances of promotionalthough he recognized that UD Las Palmas arrives “at a better time”.

The blue and white coach has insisted that “all rivals would have been just as difficult”, while expecting a tie with two teams “quite recognizable in the game and behavior”. “I am not going to give information about how we will try to harm them,” she has said.

The Tenerife coach has reported that he sees “the players well” and “looking forward to the match”, in which there will be “many keys”. “You have to be constant throughout the tie, get it right, take advantage of your moments. Emotions get to all of us because of what surrounds these games,” he added.

Luis Miguel Ramis has said that they have closed the “door” of the regular phase and now with the promotion “the most beautiful and exciting of all” opens. “The door to LaLiga is closed, including the two derbies of the season. There are 180 minutes of competitionthey will only be alike in that there will be two teams on the field and a ball”, he said about the comparison with the two derbies of the season, in which UD Las Palmas won.

The CD Tenerife coach has insisted that they have “worked and dreamed” to reach this moment, while their players have “fought all season to try to get up to the First Division”.

“We owe ourselves to the fans, we are excited to work for them and that they are proud of their team. We believe that it is, we have the obligation and the responsibility to respond. Every team wants to be surrounded by their fans. There will be two extraordinary environments and they will encourage their own, as it should be, “he said.

Ramis has commented that the most important match of the promotion is that of Heliodoro Rodríguez López, “because it is the first”about what he said that they should “adjust emotions”.

“We wanted to build a competitive team that would fight for the possibility of going up. On top of that, we have a big tie, that means we are doing things well, and that is how the teams grow”, said the CD Tenerife coach.
