SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 31 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The President of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, and the Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, signed this Wednesday on the island of La Palma the agreement for the transfer of funds for 2022 of the Comprehensive Employment Plan of the Canary Islands (PIEC) .

The event will be at 09:45 a.m. at Casa Salazar, in Santa Cruz de La Palma, and will also feature the Canarian Minister of Economy, Knowledge and Employment, Elena Máñez, and the Secretary of State for Employment and Social Economy, Joaquín Pérez

Previously, the president of the Canary Islands and the Minister of Labor and Social Economy will meet with business and union representatives.

After signing the agreement, the president and the minister will visit Tacande, in the municipality of El Paso, to inquire about the work carried out there thanks to the La Palma Volcano Emergency Employment Plan, managed by the regional public company Gesplan and financed under the Extraordinary Training and Employment Plan for La Palma.

At 1:30 p.m., Ángel Víctor Torres and the President of the Senate, Ander Gil, will sign the Mental Health Declaration together with the members of the Senate Table at Casa Salazar. The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Mariano Hernández Zapata, also took part in this act.
