The Almeyda assembly hall will host this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. the conference ‘The Spanish Armored Units in their centenary’, by Colonel Jesús Castillo Culsán.
The conference will deal with the birth, development and current situation of the Spanish Army units that used armored vehicles for a century, from 1922 in the war in Africa to the present with their participation in international missions such as the one currently carried out by NATO in Lithuania. .
Subsequently, the inauguration of the temporary exhibition will take place in one of the rooms of the Canary Islands Military Historical Museum dedicated to this main anniversary of the Army for this year 2022, with a special dedication to those units that were under the Canary Islands Command. This exhibition can be visited from June 1 to 30.
