The prestigious designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada will preside over the jury of experts in charge of scoring the designs of the 11 candidates who aspire to become Queen of the Carnival of Santa Cruz. As DIARIO DE AVISOS has learned, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada will lead the technical table that will be made up of five other people related to the world of fashion. A jury that will be completed with a second table made up of six other guests.
In total there will be 12 people who will be in charge of choosing the future Queen of the Santa Cruz Carnival 2022.
The creator is characterized by the design of brightly colored garments, which exude optimism, as she herself defines her latest collection, the one corresponding to autumn-winter 2022-2023. “In times so in need of optimism Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada returns to the catwalk stomping and in full color. Her Fall/Winter 2022-2023 collection is an ode to the alternative (and highly preferable) power of good vibes and fantasy to bring us closer to the ideal world of our dreams”, can be read on the designer’s official website.
On the same website it is pointed out that, “starting with praise for the Flower Power aesthetic -among which bell-bottom pants embroidered with stuffed flowers and powerful fuchsia astrakhan coats stand out-, agathism comes to the rescue”.
According to the rules for the Gala for the Election of the Carnival Queen, the jury will be made up of a group of professionals from the world of entertainment and sewing with proven knowledge and/or experience in order to obtain the best criteria for the time to assess the clothing.
The second table will be made up of Carnival guests from different professions and recognized prestige.
In addition, up to a maximum of two representatives may be present, with voice, but without vote, designated by the designers participating in the Carnival Queen Election Contest, and notified seven calendar days in advance.
