Important news for the ‘after hours’ pubs in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Municipal Planning Department has proceeded to authorize the extension of the closing hours of nightlife within the framework of the celebration of the Santa Cruz Carnival on the street for June 24 (Friday) and 25 (Saturday).
Thus, within the carnival ring, the different venues will adjust their closing times to the time the music stops in the street, which is at five in the morning on Friday, and at six on Saturday.
Outside the ring, those establishments identified as a nightclub in which after-hours activity takes place may close at 1:00 p.m. With this measure, the party will extend considerably during the dates of the Santa Cruz Carnival.

FINAL SCHEDULE OF THE SANTA CRUZ CARNIVAL
After the inauguration of Carnival 2022, which will take place on June 3 at 9:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds, the Rondallas premiere, on Saturday June 4 at 5:00 p.m., the calendar of competitions in the emblematic Guimerá Theater stage. On Sunday 5, and already on the boards of the Tenerife Fairgrounds, the Choreographic Festival will begin at 5:00 p.m.
The Guimerá Theater will also host the Los Fregolinos concert on Tuesday, June 7 at 8:30 p.m. One day later, on Wednesday, June 8, also at 8:30 p.m., it will be the turn of the La Zarzuela Festival.
Continuing with the final calendar of the Santa Cruz Carnival, during the second weekend of June, the Carnival Queen Election Gala will be held on Friday, June 10 at 9:30 p.m. On Saturday, June 11 at 9:00 p.m., it will be the turn for the Musical Groups Contest and on Sunday, June 12, starting at 5:00 p.m., it will be the Election Gala of the Queen of the Elderly.
