SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 25 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The amount of sales generated in the shops on the island with the ‘Bonos de Consumption Tenerife’ campaign in just 10 days amounts to 175,531 euros.
The Cabildo informs in a note that since it was launched on May 16, consumers have acquired 3,516 vouchers to redeem in the shops of 24 municipalities on the island that have decided to take advantage of this initiative promoted by the Cabildo to reactivate purchases in small and medium businesses and catering establishments on the island.
The Minister of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, explains that this first balance of results confirms the positive impact that the campaign is having, which allows consumers to redeem the vouchers throughout the month of June.
“In less than two weeks, vouchers have been purchased for an amount equivalent to 62% of the total budget for this campaign,” Baso assures.
The bonds have an amount of 10, 30 and 60 euros, of which 50% is paid by the consumer and the other half is paid by the Cabildo, which will pay the businesses within a maximum period of two weeks, from the purchase date. People who wish to acquire bonuses or know the list of registered businesses must enter www.bonotenerife.es
Carmen Luz Baso recalls that the vouchers have been designed taking into account the suggestions made by the establishments that participated in the first pilot project that was launched during the last Christmas campaign.
In addition, before its launch, the Cabildo presented all the town halls with the innovations introduced to guarantee their involvement in this new campaign and achieve the widest possible dissemination.
