The resurfacing plan reaches five streets in Las Galletas, Las Rosas and Costa del Silencio

The resurfacing of Avenida Príncipe Felipe and Calle La Paz (Las Galletas) has only the signage pending; Works on Diana street (Costa del Silencio) finished overnight. Works on Jupiter and Cefeo roads (Las Rosas) will be resurfaced next week. With this, the City Council of Arona completes an investment of an investment of 91,914 euros at this point of the asphalting plan.

The mayor of Arona, José Julián Mena, and the Councilor for Works, Ruth Lorenzo, inspected the progress of the works during the night. These five are included in the more than 200 streets, paths and roads of the municipality that have been improved in the last six and a half years, through the #AronaAvanza program, with more than five million euros of investment “after many years of abandonment and deterioration ».

Mena explains that “improving the lives of our neighbors involves adapting the conditions of their streets, through their mobility.” Satisfied with the degree of execution achieved in this framework of the #AronaAvanza programme, the mayor understands that “it is vital to continue expanding these actions to other towns, where they are also necessary”.

Ruth Lorenzo maintains that “the improvement of the public environment is a priority and in that objective the rehabilitation of our streets stands out”. The mayor of Works announces that in the council that manages “we are working to present a new asphalting plan in the coming months that will allow us to continue with the adaptation of the roads of the municipality.”
