SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 20 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, is bringing forward his trip to the Canary Islands to next Wednesday –he has other international commitments– to explain to the Canarian Government the new diplomatic relations with Morocco and the search for a solution in Western Sahara.
This was stated in the press conference after the Governing Council by the Executive’s spokesman, Julio Pérez, who revealed that next week there will be an intense work agenda on the islands with the visit of various ministers.
In this way, apart from Albares, the Minister for Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, will be in Tenerife next Monday to attend the start of the dismantling of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife refinery, and the Executive will also take the opportunity to analyze with her the green tax on aviation prepared by the EU and other energy aspects.
Likewise, the Minister of Transport, Raquel Sánchez, will visit the archipelago on Wednesday afternoon to evaluate various airport investments.
