A Health Emergency Technician (TES) and local police officers from Arona (Tenerife) have recovered a 74-year-old man from a cardiorespiratory arrest when he was in the vicinity of Parque de la Reina, in Arona.
The events occurred this Thursday afternoon on the TF-655 highway, in the Parque de la Reina area of the aforementioned municipality, and when observing what happened, a person who identified himself as TES confirmed that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest. , so he began to perform resuscitation maneuvers and followed the instructions of the health coordinators of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) present in the operating room.
Subsequently, agents of the Local Police displaced to the area, carrying a Semi-automatic External Defibrillator (DESA) that this police vehicle has, intervened together with the health emergency technician in assisting the affected person, who was given two downloads with this device, thus managing to recover his pulse.
Subsequently, the SUC staff assisted the affected person and, once stabilized, he was transferred in a critical condition by medicalized ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
