The celebration of Binter NightRun Tenerife, this Saturday, May 21, will involve the adoption of a series of changes in the traffic of Santa Cruz and circulation in the capital of Tenerife from tomorrow, Friday. The elimination of parking spaces will begin to be in force from 07:00 a.m. this Friday in the car parks located on the battery in a section of Avenida Marítima, first in the North direction, and already from 07:00 a.m. on Saturday in the exit direction of the city.

Precisely, on Saturday the parking ban will be extended, from 1:00 p.m., to the rest of Avenida Marítima; Plaza de España area; Bravo Murillo Avenue, in the section between San Sebastián Avenue and José Manuel Guimerá Gurrea Street.

Parking is also prohibited on Leoncio Rodríguez street, until its confluence with Buenos Aires avenue; and in the latter, from Francisco Bonnín to José Hernández Alfonso. Already at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, parking will be prevented in Villalba Hervás, an initial section of La Marina street and on both sides of Francisco La Roche avenue, from the Vía Litoral tunnel and to the intersection with Ramblas de Santa Cruz.

Closure in Santa Cruz traffic from 7:00 p.m.

Regarding the closure of the roads to traffic in Santa Cruz for the celebration of the different sports modalities, it will take place from 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, affecting Francisco La Roche avenue; Maritime Avenue, from Plaza de España and up to Tres de Mayo Avenue.

Those who circulate from the neighborhoods and towns of Anaga in the direction of the city will be diverted by Ramblas de Santa Cruz; the vehicles that would use the Marítima avenue will be reoriented towards the Tres de Mayo avenue; and the auxiliary route of the Port Authority may also be used.

At 7:30 p.m., Santa Cruz traffic will be closed on the General Serrador bridge in both directions and, progressively, traffic will be canceled on all the roads affected by the route of the Test. The circuit must be completely closed at 8:00 p.m.

The police security and traffic device, whenever possible, will try to collaborate for the exit and entry of vehicles to the private garages affected by this night race. As always, remember that the best option to attend this event is using public transport (buses, taxis and trams).

In any case, citizens are reminded to take into account the circumstantial signage installed these days and the hours of parking prohibitions, as well as the indications of the Local Police officers.
