SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 18 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo, through Turismo de Tenerife, is participating this week in the ‘Routes Europe 2022’ fair that is being held in Norway from May 18 to 20 to establish new alliances with different airlines and strengthen existing agreements with others with the objective of improving the connectivity of the island with the main emitting countries of Europe.
The CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, David Pérez, highlights in a note the opportunity for Tenerife to participate in this event to strengthen relations with the value chain of the sector.
“We will have the opportunity to expose the island’s strategy in terms of air connectivity to more than fifteen international airlines and airport managers and, at the same time, analyze the prospects for the coming seasons with different companies that already operate in Tenerife in order to improve existing frequencies”, he details.
Specifically, during the fair, the delegation from Tenerife will hold meetings with representatives of the airlines Volotea, Eurowings, Air Baltic, Lot Polish, Condor, Air France, Lufthansa or Swiss Air, among others.
The objective, according to the CEO, is “to establish a direct face-to-face contact to present the advances and the new commercial strategy of Tenerife as a tourist destination, as well as to lay the foundations for future collaborations and joint actions in favor of not only improving connectivity , at all-time highs, but also its quality, in addition to continuing to persevere in balancing and diversifying markets to improve our resilience to unforeseen events”.
