SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 16 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Pedro Martín, has given orders to the officials and technicians of the corporation to start reviewing all the reports of the ‘Cuna del Alma’ urban project that is going to be built in the Puertito de Adeje area.

“We are going to enforce the law,” he told reporters, while affirming that it is necessary to be certain that the project – which involves the construction of more than 400 luxury apartments with an investment of almost 350 million– complies with all urban and environmental regulations and does not invade any protected space.

Martín has specified that all the reports that depend on the Cabildo “have been favorable” but has made it clear that the corporation “will act directly” if it is shown that all legal regulations are not complied with.

He has pointed out that the Cabildo “is very much on top” of this project and has insisted that it must be guaranteed that there is no “environmental, urban and landscape alteration” and that “it is beyond any doubt” that it is acting in accordance with the law current.
