SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 16 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife has opened the deadline for third-sector entities on the island to opt for subsidies to reinforce the associative fabric endowed with 285,000 euros.
This economic injection will serve the associations and groups to promote their diversity projects as well as the management of their expenses for a year.
The CEO of Citizen Participation and Diversity, Nauzet Gugliotta, announced in a note that the entities have 20 working days from this Tuesday to present their proposals.
All aid will be granted by competitive bidding for projects that must be executed between June 1, 2022 and June 1, 2023 and the justification will last between the months of June and July 2023.
The bases of this call are divided into three different lines of action.
The first line of subsidy is aimed at strengthening associations and its objective is to provide financial support to third sector entities that work in the field of social and community care, citizen participation, community development, interculturality, LGBTIQ+ diversity and the promotion of the Gypsy People. It also focuses its attention on defending the rights of people with disabilities.
For Line 1 there is an assigned credit of 155,000 euros, with a maximum of 6,200 for each project.
Line 2 is aimed at promoting LGBTIQ+ diversity. This line seeks to promote projects aimed at assistance, support, social inclusion and citizen participation of the LGBTIQ+ community.
In addition, it tries to support awareness-raising and training actions on LGBTIQ+ realities, for which it will be especially valued that the actions are aimed at LGBTIQ+ people who have disabilities and that their activities implement social integration actions.
Line 2 has a budget of 80,000 euros and a maximum of 25,000 euros for each project that is presented.
The third line of subsidy is aimed at strengthening the associative fabric and the social inclusion of the Roma People.
With it, the aim is to strengthen the Roma social fabric through the development of projects that are aimed at its promotion, especially for young people and women.
Thus, it will be valued that the beneficiaries of the project or some of its activities are people from the Gypsy People who have disabilities.
Specifically, Line 3 is endowed with 50,000 euros and a maximum of 12,500 per project.
