They announce for this Monday slightly cloudy skies and northeast wind in the Canary Islands

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) announces slightly cloudy or generally clear skies for Monday, with cloudy intervals in the early and late hours in low-lying areasespecially on islands facing north and east, temperatures with little change and light northeast wind, more intense in the eastern islands, and with breezes on the coasts.

In high areas, there will be a moderate west wind, being strong in the central peaks of Tenerife, with very strong gusts that will locally exceed 80 km/h.

As for the state of the sea, it announces variable wind force 1 to 3 in La Palma, and north or variable in the rest of the western islands, and north or northeast 3 or 4 and, occasionally, 5 in the eastern ones, sea curly, tidal or tidal.

North or northwest swell is expected with waves of 1 to 2 meters.

By islands, the forecast for this Monday is as follows:

LANZAROTE

Little cloudy or clear in general, with some morning intervals, especially in the north. Temperatures with little change. Loose north component wind, more intense and tending to the northeast during the afternoon.

Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast in Arrecife: 17 and 26°C.

FUERTEVENTURA

Slightly cloudy or clear in general, with some cloudy intervals in the early hours, especially high clouds. Temperatures with few changes or in slight decrease. Loose to moderate northeast wind, more intense starting in the afternoon.

Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast in Puerto del Rosario: 19 and 23°C.

GRAND CANARY

Little cloudy or clear in general, with some cloudy intervals in the early hours, low clouds in the north and interior and high clouds in the rest. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease and maximum with few changes. Loose to moderate north-northeast wind, more intense on northwest and southeast slopes, with breezes on the northeast and southwest coasts. In summits, moderate west wind, more intense during the first half of the day.

Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: 19 and 26°C.

TENERIFE

Slightly cloudy or clear in general, with some cloudy intervals in low areas, especially in the early hours in the north. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease, more pronounced in the northern midlands. Highs with few changes or slightly rising. Loose north component wind, more intense on the east coast starting at noon. Coastal breezes. In central summits, strong to very strong west component wind, gusts that will locally exceed 90 km/h, somewhat less likely in the last hours.

Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast in Santa Cruz de Tenerife: 19 and 24°C.

LA GOMERA

Slightly cloudy or clear in general, with some cloudy intervals in the north in the early hours and in the south in the afternoon. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease and maximum with few changes or in slight decrease. Loose north component wind, more intense on the west and east coasts during central hours. Breezes on the coasts and moderate west wind on the summits.

Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast in San Sebastián de La Gomera: 19 and 24°C.

THE PALM

Cloudy intervals in the north and northeast, with a predominance of slightly cloudy skies in central hours. In summits and other areas, slightly cloudy or clear in general. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease, more pronounced on the southern slope and maximum with few changes or in slight decrease. Loose north component wind, with breezes on the coasts. In summits, west-southwest wind with some strong interval.

Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast in Santa Cruz de La Palma: 19 and 22°C.

THE IRON

Slightly cloudy or clear in general, with an occasional cloudy interval in low areas. Minimum temperatures without changes or in slight decrease and maximum with few changes. Loose to moderate north component wind, with breezes on the north and southwest coasts. In summits, moderate west wind.

Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast in Valverde: 14 and 19°C.
