The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council reports that it has reopened the car parks on the Las Teresitas and Las Gaviotas beaches, which had to be closed at noon as they were overcrowded.
This has been announced on social networks by the Center for Operational Coordination of the Local Administration (Cecopal):
The good weather that shines this Sunday in the capital of Tenerife has led to a massive influx to the beaches.
This situation already occurred on April 15 and is common in the summer period.
A few moments ago, due to the high level of occupancy in the parking lots of Las Teresitas and Las Gaviotas beaches, vehicle access was closed. #BeachesSantaCruz @DistrictAnaga
