A 39-year-old woman has been injured with moderate burns to her upper limbs after a fire broke out this morning in her home on Avenida de las Islas Canarias, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Sources from 112 detail that the woman was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital. Members of the Tenerife Fire Department extinguished the flames, which originated in a mattress, and ventilated the building.
The Local and National Police took charge of the corresponding proceedings.
The emergency device was activated at 5:21 a.m. after receiving the alert on 112.
