The message is clear. Those nightlife venues that skip the regulations in force regarding noise, capacity or the lack of an appropriate license for the activity they carry out will follow the same path as the venue located at number 3 of the carnation streetwhich last Thursday night was sealed by the Local Police by order of the Municipal Management of Town planning.
This is the conclusion of a file initiated in 2018 by a neighborhood complaint and that has been prolonged over time, with new complaints, due to the excess of noise coming from the premises in question. Not only has it been sealed, but a fine of more than 38,000 euros has also been imposed.
Among the infractions committed is that of exceeding the permitted decibels and doing so after manipulating the equipment installed precisely to limit the sound that came out of the premises on El Clavel street. He was also fined for allowing drinks to be taken out on the street and for almost tripling the authorized capacity, with the Local Police accounting for some 90 people when only 29 were allowed.
The mayor of Urbanism, Guillermo Díaz Guerra, warns that “we are rearranging the priorities in the Disciplinary service, and at the head, in addition to illegal works, are the complaints for classified activities and support for the Local Police.”
