A 55-year-old woman had to be rescued this Saturday by the emergency services after being injured when she fell on the path that goes from Afur to Playa Taborno, in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Coordinating Center of Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred shortly after nine in the morning and Tenerife Firefighters, a rescue helicopter from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands, Rural Guard, Environment personnel, Port Authority have participated in the operation. , Civil Protection, a basic life support ambulance from the SUC, Local Police and National Police.
The GES helicopter rescued the affected woman and transferred her to the port of Santa Cruz, where the SUC ambulance took care of her and transferred her to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands (HUC) due to moderate lower limb trauma.
