The Cabildo helps municipalities to assess the impact of gender on their public policies through specific courses that conclude on the 31st. The Minister for Equality and Prevention of Gender Violence, Priscila de León, recalls that equality is a transversal element, «hence the importance of incorporating the gender perspective in municipal services».

The course emphasizes gender impact reporting on local policies. The administrative and technical staff of corporations know the keys to analyzing the results and effects of public regulations or policies on the lives of women and men, with the aim of identifying and avoiding possible gender inequalities.

35 technicians and administrators from 14 municipalities involved in social services, human resources, urban planning, environmental sustainability, employment, local development and treasury participate. The training includes videoconferences and five theoretical-practical training modules lasting 35 hours.
