SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 14 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 39-year-old woman has suffered moderate burns in a fire in a house located on Islas Canarias Avenue, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred last morning, around 5:20 a.m. Firefighters from Tenerife, a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), Local Police, National Police and Civil Protection acted at the scene.
Firefighters extinguished the flames, which originated in a mattress, and ventilated the building. The woman was transferred to the Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria due to moderate burns on her upper limbs.
The police services took charge of the corresponding proceedings.
