The world’s most influential guide to pizza, 50 Top Pizzahas updated its ranking of the best pizzerias in Europe, in which on this occasion five Spanish women have managed to sneak in, one from Tenerife. Italy does not participate in this list as it has its own.
Spain, England and Germany, with five establishments each, are the places that have the most representation in this list in which twenty European regions appear. Although the first place has been taken by a French pizzeria, Peppe Pizzeria, the second is from a Spanish located in Madrid, Fratelli Figurato, and the fifth, another from Barcelona, Sartoria Panatieri.
You have to jump to 10th place to see Spain again in the ranking, with La Balmesina, in Barcelona. In 36th place, finally, is the only Canarian pizzeria that manages to be among the best 50 in Europe. It is located in the south of Tenerife and its name is Oro Di Napoli.
