The The application period to request financial aid from the Santiago del Teide City Council for the acquisition of textbooks and school supplies for the next academic year 2022/2023 will remain open until June 9. The grants are aimed at students in Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education in the southern municipality.
The conditions for accessing these grants include being registered and residing in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, with a minimum seniority of six months prior to the time of submitting the application; study Infant, Primary or Compulsory Secondary Education in a public center based in the municipality of Santiago del Teide or in another adjoining one for reasons of school transport.
Regarding the amount, it will depend on the level of studies or if you belong to a large family, in which case the aid will be increased by 10%. If the student belongs to families in which one of its members is affected by a legally qualified disability equal to or greater than 33%, the aid will be increased by a further 10%. If the two previous requirements are met, the increases are cumulative.
