Mujeres World Fest is a committed and innovative festival that was born with the intention of being a cultural benchmark in Spain to make female art visible from different points of view. The event will take place at the Costa Adeje Golf Course on August 27, starting at 6:00 p.m., with more than eight hours of live music.
It is a summer festival with an exclusive poster in the Canary Islands in which all kinds of artists from different countries will participate, promoting the festival’s message. The lineup is made up of Mala Rodríguez, a pioneer of urban music in Spain; the famous Chilean singer, Mon Laferte, and the Mexican Silvana Estrada, an emerging talent who will visit the islands for the first time, like Mon Laferte. She completes the line-up of luxury María José Llergo, who will also be on the island for the first time with her fusion of flamenco and the strength of urban music; and the group Caracoles, who will present their new work Euphorbia.
The festival wants to bring new sounds and artists to the Canarian cultural scene, which are not part of the classical circuit that usually reaches the archipelago. The concert on August 27 will feature a staging “never seen before in the Canary Islands and that will include, throughout the night, many surprises,” advances the organization.
The macro concert will host an ecological market, a gastronomic area with different varieties of local products and a single ticket for the entire public so that they can enjoy all the actions that will be implemented during the festival.
The rest of the festival’s activities will be presented soon, including conferences, cinema and an award ceremony for women who represent female art in its different expressions and society in general.
