The 83-year-old man of Galician origin accused of killing his wife this Wednesday afternoon in Los Cristianos (Arona) has been arrested by the National Police once he has left the hospital, where he was being guarded, sources from the Delegation of the Government to Europa Press, who specify that it has not yet gone to court.
About the Galician couple, who spent vacation seasons in the south of the island, there were no complaints of ill-treatment.
The Cabildo de Tenerife and the Arona City Council have held rallies this Thursday and a minute of silence in rejection of the events.
