SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 12 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 25-year-old man is injured after a vehicle overturned in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria) late in the afternoon, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1- 2 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The man, who has been transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) to the San Roque Hospital in Maspalomas, presented moderate polycontusions at the time of the assistance produced in the GC-1, south direction, at approximately kilometer point 50.
The CECOES received an alert in which they reported the overturning of a vehicle in the vicinity of the Salobre area, so the 1-1-2 activated the emergency resources, while the Firefighters secured the accident vehicle.
For its part, the Civil Guard was in charge of carrying out the corresponding report and the staff of the Highway Maintenance Service carried out cleaning tasks on the road.
