Operators of the winning company of the specifications for the construction and assembly of the Carnival, Promotion and Development of Canarian Events and Festivals, has already begun the assembly of the scenography devised by Carlos Santos for the edition of the mask party to be held at the fairgrounds of Santa Cruz of Tenerife.
Already on the same Friday, June 3, four days after the celebration of the Day of the Canary Islands, The acts will start at the Fair and Congress Center of the capital with the inauguration and presentation of eleven adult candidates, as many children and eight adults.
Fiestas specifies that the rental of the facilities, owned by the Cabildo de Tenerife, represents a disbursement of 483,389 euros for rent for the month and a half of occupation, time scheduled for assembly, holding events and disassembly.
This week began the installation of the metallic structure, sheet corresponding to the firm Mas Que Carpas, while the decoration itself has been prepared by Promotion and Development of Canarian Events and Festivals, which plans to start the installation of the scenery this Thursday.
The main novelty of the facility refers to the new location, which will adopt the same distribution as the Dial Awards ceremony, placing the stage in the area closest to the Cepsa facilities and placing the chairs and stands towards the fairground area, towards CajaSiete.
The stage, designed by Carlos Santos, will have a total area of more than 2,100 square meters, with a covered surface like that of the Christmas concert offered by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, with a technical ceiling of 14 x 31 meters and an uncovered part, in front, of approximately 13 x 60 meters. To this is added the placement of a led screen that will occupy 160 square meters.
Unlike other years, in this edition the layout of the stage together with the stands and the stalls will be across the width of the fairgrounds. The change of location is due to the fact that “allows you to have an atmosphere in each of the contests and in each gala because it can be modulated with a wide variety of colors. In addition, they will not have the anchors that limit three-dimensional volumetric scenarios,” explained the Councilor for Fiestas, Alfonso Cabello.
