In the early hours of this Tuesday, a large fire was reported in the central Pérez de Rozas street, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, that affected the facade of a building and burned eight garbage containers and five vehicles, as well as public lighting elements and signage of an establishment, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Government of the Canary Islands CECOES 1-1-2 and the Local Police of the capital of Tenerife.
Firefighters from Tenerife, personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and municipal police intervened at the scene.
According to the agents, the flames forced the timely eviction of 10 residents of the area and, despite the ostentatiousness of the event, no injuries were reported.
