The purple formation believes that “Domínguez should follow the example of his national leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who last week elegantly resigned from the presidency of the Xunta de Galicia, after having taken possession of the presidency of the Popular Party, given the evident impossibility of reconcile both charges. The spokesman for the Socialists in the Los Realejos City Council, Miguel Agustín García, also asks the mayor to “choose between complying with his people or defrauding his neighbors”, and regrets that “there are already three plenary sessions that Domínguez has not presided over, which casts doubt on his priorities at the head of the Corporation».
