The pandemic paralyzed the processes that had already been activated to fill these positions through competitive examination, without taking into account seniority or experience in the position. With the approval of Law 20/201, these variants have been introduced into the negotiation, reaching an agreement that the Governing Board made official yesterday.

The mayor of the city, José Manuel Bermúdez, highlighted the importance of the agreement and pointed out that, “in this way, Santa Cruz is among the first municipal administrations to comply with Law 20/2021, of December 28, on urgent measures and that gives stability to temporary jobs within the Consistory”.
