SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 9. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Agents of the National Police have arrested a father and a son aged 53 and 28 as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health in the framework of an operation against the sale of retail drugs in the capital of Tenerife.
With these arrests, which occurred in the Salamanca district, a point of sale for distributed drugs is considered dismantled, as revealed by the investigation, mainly in the aforementioned neighborhood and its surroundings.
The agents, through information tangential to other investigations, learned that a retail point of sale for narcotic substances could operate from a house in the Salamanca district.
The investigations carried out by the investigators confirmed the initial information, revealing that the illicit activity could be carried out by individuals with family ties.
In a device that included the participation of specialized units of the National Police, they proceeded to enter the property. Inside the house, two men, father and son, were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health.
In the subsequent search, the investigators seized more than 6,000 euros in cash, 383 grams of hashish resin, 142 grams of cocaine, 240 grams of marijuana, different tools for sale, weighing, cutting and packaging of the drug, knives and vehicles. .
The detainees, along with the report prepared for this purpose, were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority, which ordered the interim detention of both.
The actions were carried out by national police from the UDYCO of the Provincial Police Station of the National Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
