Turismo de Tenerife has presented the promotional campaign ‘The New Tenerife’ within the framework of the Madrid Open Tennis 2022 international tournament, which aims to attract young tourists and people seeking luxury experiences.
According to the Cabildo, the island’s director of Tourism, Laura Castro, stressed that “we have chosen this space to publicize the new image of the island, in which we address two specific audiences, a young tourist who wants to enjoy the endless activities and plans that Tenerife offers, and a public that is looking for luxury experiences”.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, David Pérez, pointed out that “the island is the best destination for those young people who seek to enjoy every moment of the day with a variety of options from music, sports, adventure or leisure night”.
“On the other hand,” he continued, “we are looking forward to presenting the immense, most exclusive options for a tourist who prioritizes the highest quality experiences.”
Here, he added that Tenerife wanted to be present in this championship that brings together very diverse audiences. “In addition, our presence contributes to changing the perception of the destination, breaking down created stereotypes and positioning ourselves as an exclusive, sustainable and quality destination,” he emphasized.
For its part, Tenerife has a boutique stand that Mutua Madrid Open attendees can visit and also participate in the interactive game The Flight of Emotions, with which they can win different prizes, such as experiences on the island.
The game consists of being able to move a plane from one point to another on a monitor, specifically from Madrid to Tenerife, in the shortest time possible, through a headband of mental control, which measures the level of concentration of the person in the moment of the game, to get exclusive experiences on the island.
Finally, it will be possible to participate in it until this Sunday, May 8, the day on which the final of the Mutua Madrid Open tournament will be played.
