Yesterday the 133 components of the first rotation of the three of the BRILIB XXXVI contingent landed in Gran Canaria, 58 – bound for Madrid, 49 for Tenerife and 26 for Gran Canaria -, that with mission in the last months in the south of Lebanon during the last months. The soldiers were received at the Gando airport by a representation of military authorities from the different units that have contributed personnel to the contingent. There they received a warm welcome from family and friends. At the ‘party’ in the departures terminal there was even a request for hands by one of the members of the Brigade to the mother of his son, with the mother-in-law as an ‘accomplice’.
