The Municipality of Puerto de la Cruz Has published in its electronic headquarters and on its bulletin board the provisional list of more than a thousand people admitted for the selective process of seven positions of the Administrative subscale of General Administrationvacancies in the workforce official staffas well as the final list of applicants and the dates of the tests of the process of provision of 14 new local police posts. There are about 500 applicants for each of these two selection processes.
In the case of the contest-opposition of the administrative subscale, a place is reserved for the free shift and six will be for internal promotion, which can be accumulated to the free turn if they are not occupied. It will also configure a reserve list with the applicants who pass the opposition phase and are not awarded any of the places called, for their appointment on an interim basis in the event of vacancies. From the day following the publication of the provisional list in the Official Bulletin of the Provincea period of ten business days will begin to count for the correction of defects.

Regarding the selective process of 14 vacancies in Local policetests will be held on May 24, 25 and 26 in the facilities of Ivan Ramallo Olympic Stadiumon Puerto Cruz street, in the municipality of Los Realejos.
The councilor of Human Resources of the Porto City Hall, David Hernandez (ACP), highlights that more than 500 applications have been submitted for each of the processes. Hernández points out that these processes respond to the objective of gradually filling the civil servant positions that have become vacant in recent years in the Porto Town Hallin order to improve internal organization and meet the needs of the different services provided to citizens.
“We will take all necessary measures to avoid the occurrence of any type of irregularity or trap in the opposition processes. We will outsource to prevent illegitimate means from being used in the exams,” Hernandez warns. The mayor prefers not to detail the fraud prevention measures that are going to be applied, but acknowledges that after the controversy that arose in the selective process of local police officers in Tacoronte, “we have sat down to talk and seek solutions in this regard.”
David Hernandez recognizes that carrying out these selection processes for new personnel of the Porto City Council “is very complex”, but “it will allow for a more balanced List of Job Positions (RPT) and endowed with sufficient personnel to cover services such as the Local Police or for improve efficiency in administrative processingwhich is something fundamental for the City Council and the municipality to function”.
