A 36-year-old man has been slightly injured after a fire in a churrería located on El Gomero street, in Tegueste.
The events occurred this Tuesday, around 9:00 a.m., when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2) received a call alerting about the fire in the premises. The necessary emergency resources were immediately activated: the Tenerife Fire Department; the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), with a basic life support ambulance; Civil Protection, and the Civil Guard.
While the firefighters extinguished the flames and ventilated the building, the SUC staff assisted the affected person with burns on his arms, for which he was transferred to the local Tegueste clinic. The police services secured the area and instructed the corresponding proceedings.
