The area of highways Council of Tenerife will carry out an urgent action on a slope of the island road TF-567, at kilometer point 2,900, in Vilaflor.
On that wall and as a result of the weather occurred in the past several days landslides in which they were left loose rocks on the slope with serious risk of new crashes.
The Island Councilor Roads, Enrique Arriaga, has indicated that the instability of the slope advises carrying out restoration work immediately to remove the large rocks that have been left hanging. He added that it is a priority action to restore the road safety of this island infrastructure.
The insular director of Roads, Tomás Félix García, explained that work will be carried out during daytimefor which it will be necessary closure of a highway lanearranging traffic alternatively for the duration of the execution of the work, which will consist of the removal of all the unstable elements that remain on the slope.
For its correct execution from the point of view of Health and Safety, there will be a signaling team to carry out detours and traffic regulation, as well as the vertical signage, beacons and necessary lighting.
