SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 30 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de La Gomera will keep open until May 11 the deadline to apply for aid for sports entities and cultural, musical and educational associations on the Island, in order to cooperate with the different projects they carry out on the island.
The president of the Cabildo, Casimiro Curbelo, insisted on the relevance that these annual aids acquire for the promotion of associations and cooperation with the projects that these entities develop on the Island.
“From the Island Institution we have an initial investment of 250,000 euros, 50,000 more than in the last call, to cover the development of initiatives in the social, cultural and sports field on the island, since they are the backbone of the revitalization of the localities in which these entities carry out their projects,” he added.
For her part, the Island Councilor for Culture, Rosa Elena García, specified that the call for non-profit cultural, educational, musical entities includes those legally constituted, with legal personality and registered office in La Gomera, the amount of which to be subsidized will be determined based on the scale made of the invoices provided during the 2021/2022 school year or the year 2022 for those linked to the project according to the bases.
The same thing happens with sports, although in this case associations and entities whose purpose is to carry out and promote sports activities may be beneficiaries, excluding those dependent on public administrations, delegations and federations whose scope is supra-insular.
The application delivery period, which opened on Tuesday, April 12, ends on Wednesday, May 11. The presentation of the documentation, as well as the completion of the forms, can be done from the website lagomera.es, through the Electronic Office.
