The Department of Employment and Local Development of the City Council of El Rosario closed its Virtual Training School launched a year ago. During the 2021-2022 academic year, a total of 267 neighbors enrolled in one of the more than 500 free courses, offered through the Employment and Local Development Agency (AEDL) and which increased the training of citizens.
The mayor responsible, Yeray Gutiérrez, highlights that “this project allowed up to 501 different courses and stood out for the simplicity of enrollment, the self-management capacity of the students and the free offer.” All this has meant that the Virtual Training School, in its two editions, “has been widely accepted”.
Regarding the statistical data of the users of the Virtual School, it is observed that 66.3% of those enrolled were women (177) compared to 33.7% of men (90). The most common age groups were those between 40 and 55 years old (125), followed by users between 25 and 40 years old (88), between 18 and 25 years old (31) and those over 55 years old (27).
On the other hand, the most popular courses were those related to health (42), languages (33), business administration and management (32), occupational risk prevention (27) and information technology and communications (26). ), among others.
