SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 29 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 28-year-old man has been rescued with symptoms of drowning on the beach of San Telmo, in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred around 1:45 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that lifeguards from the Beach Rescue Service had pulled a person out of the water who was in distress at sea and requested health care.
Once at the scene, the SUC staff assisted the affected person, who presented incomplete drowning, and took care of his transfer to a hospital with a moderate prognosis. The Local Police collaborated with the resources and was in charge of the pertinent proceedings.
