Free parking in Tenerife for the use of bus and tram

Tenerife Intercity Transport (titsa), a Cabildo company, will discount four hours of free parking in Tenerifespecifically in the Santa Cruz and La Laguna interchanges for combined use with the bus or tram.

To benefit from this discount it is mandatory to use the bus with the Ten+ card on any of the urban lines of Santa Cruz, La Laguna or others of the company, as soon as you leave the bus. car in the parking lot.

The Vice President of the Cabildo, Minister of Mobility and President of Titsa, Enrique Arriaga, stressed that the interchanges offer very attractive and competitive rates with the aim of prioritizing the use of public transport over private vehicles for travel. “In this way, we want to help decongest the roads to make our environment more friendly for citizens,” he said.

The island’s director of Mobility, José Alberto León, stated that current mobility involves the combined use of different means of transport and from the Cabildo and Titsa “we offer the best options to contribute to having a more sustainable island,” he stressed.

The free parking bonuses in Tenerife for combined use with public transport, as long as the Ten+ card or Ten+ Mobile application is used, reach up to four hours for the use of the lines in the metropolitan area, six hours for the lines that leave from Santa Cruz and travel up to 76 kilometers, and up to ten hours over that distance.

Likewise, Titsa applies a flat rate of 3 euros per day in the car parks of the Santa Cruz and La Laguna interchanges for those customers who use the bus on their trips to the airports.

Free parking in Tenerife

Users of aeroexpress lines 20 (Interchanger Santa Cruz-Tenerife North Airport) and 111 (Interchanger Santa Cruz-Costa Adeje by Airport) may avail themselves of this offer, presenting the return ticket with receipt of payment in cash or through the Ten+ card. This offer has a maximum limit of 30 consecutive days.

The car parks of the Santa Cruz and La Laguna interchanges apply a general rate of 1.5 euros per hour, which means a maximum payment per day of 10 hours, 15 euros.

In addition, subscribers have very attractive rates to park their vehicle in an area guarded 24 hours a day. Thus, the monthly subscription of 12 hours from Monday to Friday has a cost of 45 euros per month. The 24-hour monthly subscription, which allows parking every day of the week, costs 60 euros per month, while users of the annual subscription will pay 650 euros.

Titsa manages the car parks at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna interchanges with 1,421 and 206 spaces, respectively.
