SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 27 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Cadena Dial and Turismo de Tenerife have presented this Wednesday the XXVI edition of the ‘Dial Awards’, which will be held on September 15 at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds and will feature Edurne and Luis Larrodera as presenters.
During the meeting, Cadena Dial revealed the names of the winners of this new edition, including Sergio Dalma, Pastora Soler, Antonio José, Edurne, Morat, Ana Mena, Dani Fernández, Manuel Carrasco, Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini, Manolo Garcia and Monica Naranjo.
Together with them, the ‘Special Career Award’ has been announced, which will recognize Álex Ubago as one of the most important voices in Spanish pop, and the ‘Dial Latino Award’, which will be collected by the acclaimed Mexican singer and composer Carlos Rivera .
The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Pedro Martín, wanted to highlight during the press conference that “the social event that takes place in Tenerife with the awards is fantastic and this year in which tourism is finally waking up, they will undoubtedly represent an injection mood on the island.
For his part, Vicent Argudo, Director of Music at PRISA Media, highlighted that “this is the best representation of music in Spanish produced in the year and this edition has an unprecedented line-up and a reflection of the wonderful patrimony that supposes the language”.
The artists present at the press conference, led by Carmen Ramírez, have also expressed their joy at the recognition of the longest-running prizes in Spanish music.
Edurne, winner and presenter of the gala, was moved when she recognized that “the ‘Premios Dial’ are always very special, but this year they will undoubtedly be even more so”.
“Of course I am going to give myself to the fullest and I can tell you that great surprises await us,” he said.
