SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 26 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Tenerife Science and Technology Park and Innovation Area (PCTT), presented the ‘Talentum Tenerife’ brand on Tuesday.
This program is conceived, explained the Minister for Innovation, Enrique Arriaga at a press conference, as the connecting thread and backbone of the ‘triple helix’ formed by the administration, society and companies, through projection, training, the technological spaces of the island and both local and international companies.
‘Talentum Tenerife’ aims to promote and disseminate training, projects, research and transfer to society through companies with the aim of turning Tenerife into an ecosystem that fosters, with impact, effectiveness and efficiency, a talent economy, thus promoting an entrepreneurial attitude, the creation of new companies and the attraction of international companies.
The counselor stressed that the Cabildo is working to generate young people on the island trained in what companies really need.
“We have an Innovation Master Plan that seeks to attract companies or get them to create on the island and what they all need is help, support and trained people and precisely training is one of the important edges of Talentum Tenerife” , he pointed.
Arriaga added that the program covers the entire range of training from infant ages to specialization programs that do not exist in regulated training and that companies demand and will serve to “attack” youth unemployment.
For her part, the island director of Innovation, María Aránzazu Artal, explained that “with ‘Talentum’ all the projects offered by the Cabildo de Tenerife are put in order, facilitating access to the information and resources available on the island”.
A large part of the program is developed through the Tenerife Science and Technology Park through different projects that are grouped into four large areas represented by four colours.
Thus, yellow is ‘Talentum Training’ dedicated to training; green is linked to innovative projects, ‘Talentum Project’; the blue color represents ‘Talentum Business’, dedicated to companies and research, and the pink color represents ‘Talentum Research’.
In this way, the programs, actions and spaces linked to the PCTT are configured, naming the programs as follows: Talentum Woman, Talentum FIRST, Talentum Future, Talentum Labs, Talentum Talks, Talentum Hub, Talentum startup, Talentum Invest and Talentum Top.
