SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 26 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The plenary session of the Parliament of the Canary Islands has kept a minute of silence this Tuesday at the beginning of the session in memory of the deceased person and the 26 who are missing after the shipwreck of a boat, with 61 migrants on board, almost 250 kilometers from Gran Canary.
The president of the Chamber, Gustavo Matos, has lamented a new “terrible human drama” on the coast of the archipelago with people trying to reach the Canary Islands “at any price” and in search of a “chance of life”.
