Agents of the National Police arrested a 38-year-old man, with a police record, in the La Salle area of the capital of Tenerife, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with violence or intimidation. The events occurred in the early hours of this Tuesday at a nightclub in the area.
As the National Police points out in a note, the middle-aged man, apparently drunk, entered the establishment and, going behind the bar, between threats to the workers, tried to seize the cash register.
The National Police patrol, once at the scene, collected the testimonies of all those present and proceeded to arrest the man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence or intimidation.
The detainee, who in the superficial control of his personal effects was seized narcotic substances intended for his own consumption, after being heard in a statement was placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
The actions were carried out by national police officers from the Provincial Police Station of the National Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
