The Canary Islands expect weak rains on Tuesday in the north of the islands of greater relief

The Meteorology Statal Agency (Aemet) announces for this Tuesday light and occasional rain likely in the north of the islands with greater relief, minimum temperatures slightly rising in the eastern islands and unchanged or slightly falling in the western ones, maximum with few changes and northwest wind with strong intervals.

The wind will turn north during the morning, being somewhat more intense in the east and inland areas of the easternmost islands.

As for the state of the seathe Aemet announces south and southwest wind from force 3 to 5, which will change to northwest 4 or 5, locally 6 or 7, which will subside to north 3 or 4, swell, locally strong swell at the end of the afternoon, which will decrease to swell .

On the north, southeast and south coasts of Tenerife Y Gran Canariathe wind will be variable force 2 or 3 and there will be rippled seas and swells.

Northwest swell is expected in all the islands with waves of 1 or 2 meters in height, rain until night and temporarily regular visibility.

TENERIFE

Cloudy intervals, with predominance of cloudy skies in the north and interior in the early hours and in the midlands of the north in the late hours, and with formation of cloudiness of evolution to the south during the afternoon. Probable weak and occasional rains in the north, especially during the first half of the day, without ruling them out on the southeast slope during the central hours. Temperatures without changes or in slight decrease, especially on the north and extreme south slopes. Northwest wind, with strong intervals on northwest and northeast slopes, which will turn north during the morning, and will continue to be more intense on northwest and extreme northeast slopes. Breezes on the southeast coast the first half of the day and on the southwest coast during the second half. In summits, moderate northwest wind with strong intervals.

LA GOMERA

Cloudy intervals, with formation of clouds of evolution to the south at the end of the morning and during the afternoon. Light and occasional rains likely, especially in the north and in the early hours. Temperatures without changes or in slight decrease, mainly in the maximum of the north and east slopes. North component wind, with strong intervals on summits and east and west slopes, especially in central hours. Breezes on the south coast.

THE PALM

Cloudy intervals, with a predominance of cloudy skies in the north in the early hours and with cloud formation in the west during the afternoon. Light and occasional rains are likely in the north, especially during the first half of the day, without ruling them out in the west during the afternoon. Temperatures without changes or in slight decrease, especially in the maximum of the north and east slopes. North component wind, more intense on northwest and northeast slopes, which will turn northeast during the afternoon, and will become more intense on northwest and southeast slopes. Breezes on the southwest coast during the second half of the day.

Northwest wind, which will be more intense in the extreme west and northeast, which will turn north in the morning and northeast in the afternoon, and will become more intense in the summits and extreme west and southeast. Northwest wind, which will tend to north during the morning, with strong intervals at the end of the Jandía peninsula and in inland areas and on the eastern slope during central hours.

GRAND CANARY

Cloudy intervals, with a predominance of cloudy skies in the northern half in the early hours and in the northern midlands in the late hours, and with some cloudiness of evolution in the southern midlands during the afternoon. Probable weak and occasional rains in the north and interior of the island. Minimum temperatures in slight rise. Highs in slight decline in the northern half and in slight to moderate rise in the southern half, especially in the midlands. Northwest wind, with strong intervals on the west and northeast slopes, which will turn north during the morning, being more intense on the west and east slopes. Breezes on the south coast.
