People can participate in this contest residents in the Canary Islands, individually or collectively, presenting a maximum of two works. In its design, the poster must include the title «Villa de La Orotava Corpus Christi and San Isidro Labrador» and the date (from May 15 to June 26, 2022), as well as the institutional coat of arms. There will be a single prize of 600 euros, an amount from which the personal income tax contribution will be withheld.
The posters, which must be original and unpublished, will be presented in the General Registry of the Town Hall in a USB type memory, as well as a color reproduction on a rigid and digital support with a measurement of 45 by 65 centimeters, “without difficulties at the time of its reproduction in print”. All works will be presented unsigned, but with a motto on the back of the work, which will be repeated on the outside of the sealed envelope that will be attached to the poster, and in which the data of the author or authors will be stated, as well as the address, telephone and email of Contact. In the event that the work has been sent by mail or courier company, the date and time of delivery will be stated, without there being any mention that allows the identification of the author or authors of the work sent.
The municipal government (CC) highlights that with this contest “citizen participation is encouraged and the population is more involved in their parties, in addition to enhancing the artistic values of many citizens dedicated to art and design.” The bases can be consulted at corporate website of the Villero City Council.
